Canada Day

Two days out of Kingston we have got a free reciprocal slip at Newcastle. The adventure has already begun in earnest!

We sailed up past Bath with Graham Tattersall, who will stay with us until we clear the Welland. The Americans were busy doing some 1812 shelling from tall ships. I understand it doesn't work out well for them.

We blew a seam in the cocktail jib, then discovered just how much water had built up from ethanol gas...

Sailed over to Rochester overnight then finally caught a lift sailing to Newcastle. Tomorrow ABYC.
