When making guesses about timing, even before reserving for the Welland, we guessed we would make Tobermory on about July 6, and so it turned out…
Tobermory is a great harbour against just about all wind directions, but it’s now even more tourist intensive. The grocery store is gone. The diner where we had a chance breakfast with Don Currie is gone. There are a bunch more boats ready to take you to Flowerpot Island, but there is also a nice new washer/dryer in the shower building.
